Your scream sounds like you saw

a squashed toad inside your bedtime book,

a piece of mouldy birthday cake,

a toe nail bouncing in your soup.

Like you saw a mouse being pulled

through a creamy dessert,

a week’s rain filling up their sporty car,

a tarantula entering a ballet dancer’s tutu!
